Want to brighten up your dark winter evenings and get 'paddling fit'?

If you are an intermediate paddler and want to get some distance under your belt then our wednesday night session might be for you...

Dan Hinton - Local school teacher and qualified sea kayak guide will ensure you wont get lost whilst the evenings are still dark!

This session is aimed at distance and fitness rather than out and out skills training.

However, Dan will use his expertise and experience to ensure you develop efficient forward paddling techniques.

Obviously the distance/ severity of training will be matched to your current fitness level and only increased when you are ready.

Details:

Every Wednesday night 5:45- 7pm - Sessions may be cancelled if the wind is particularly strong.

£4 per person

£6 if you need to borrow equipment

Kit available: Kayaks, Paddles, Buoyancy Aids, Wetsuits, Spray tops.

Call to book your place: 01539444451

Prerequisites:

For this kayak session participants are expected to have experience - at intermediate level and not be complete beginners.

Intermediate paddlers have ussually spent a considerable amount of hours in a kayak or a canoe.

Having been in a kayak or canoe once or twice in your lifetime is not sufficient experience- Our thursday night pool session would be more appropriate for this level of experience. (see other news items for details)

We reserve the right to refuse participartion if we feel that an individual is not sufficiently experinced

What to bring:

Being an intermediate paddler you really should know what to bring but, if you have any doubts please call: 01539444451
